Position Overview:
As a Trainee Quantity Surveyor at Velta Construction, you will play a pivotal role in learning and contributing to our commitment to excellence and sustainability. We welcome candidates from diverse backgrounds, and while experience in civil engineering projects is a plus, it’s not a requirement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Learn to conduct measurement and valuations.

• Assist in preparing and negotiating interim valuations and final accounts.

• Contribute to monitoring and reviewing the financial performance of contracts.

• Learn to manage financial accounts and provide project performance reports to senior management.

• Assist in communicating with clients regarding project performance.

• Support in ensuring timely customer payments within contract terms.

• Learn about subcontractor procurement and management of subcontractor accounts.

• Gain exposure to pricing projects before contract agreement.
  
  

Requirements:

• Essential: Enthusiasm to learn and develop in the field of Quantity Surveying

• Strong commitment to safety

• Drive, ambition, and strong interpersonal skills

• A FULL UK manual car driving license with no more than 6 points
