Velta Construction, a leading name in the construction industry, is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Reinstatement Operative to join our growing team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring reinstatement activities meet regulatory standards and contribute to our core values of integrity, inclusivity, innovation, and quality.

Position Overview:
As a Reinstatement Operative at Velta Construction, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating reinstatement activities on construction sites. Working collaboratively with our construction team, utility contractors, and local authorities, you will ensure that reinstatement works meet industry standards and project specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Adhere strictly to all safety regulations and guidelines to ensure a secure work environment.
• Ensure that the operational area is safe, working in a safe manner to prevent injuries to the general public as a result of reinstatement works.
• Conduct reinstatement tasks, including recording necessary information and forwarding precise measurements and locations on task completion.
• Liaise closely with the Site Supervisor, and other relevant stakeholders when necessary.
• Select optimum techniques to minimise disruption to local residents, businesses, and road users during reinstatement activities.
• Set up and remove the working area in-line with NRSWA Streetworks regulations.
• Complete accurate and timely documentation of all information related to completed and active reinstatement jobs.
• Test / inspect completed work to ensure it meets quality standards and project specifications.

Requirements:

Experience: Proven experience as a Reinstatement Operative or similar role in the construction industry.

Skills: In-depth knowledge of reinstatement standards and practices. Strong organisational and documentation skills.

Certification: NRSWA, EUSR, SHEA Water, CPCS / CSCS, First Aid, CAT and Genny, class 1 / 2 license desirable.
