Velta Signs Up to Welsh Government’s Ethical Employment Code

Velta has officially signed up to the Welsh Government’s Code of Practice: Ethical Employment in Supply Chains, reinforcing our commitment to fairness, transparency, and integrity in how we work with suppliers and partners.

The Code provides a clear framework for organisations to ensure that workers across their supply chains are treated legally and ethically. It covers key areas such as preventing modern slavery, blacklisting, false self-employment, and the inappropriate use of zero-hours contracts or umbrella schemes. It also promotes transparency, fair pay, and responsible working practices.

By signing the Code, Velta is strengthening its commitment to ethical employment a principle already embedded in the way we operate. We work hard to ensure that everyone we engage with across our supply chain is treated fairly, and that our internal practices meet the highest standards of integrity and compliance.

Going forward, we will continue to review and improve our processes to ensure full alignment with the Code and contribute to building a responsible and ethical construction industry in Wales and beyond.
